मुंबई, दि. 14 : राज्यपाल सी. पी. राधाकृष्णन यांनी राज्यातील जनतेला स्वातंत्र्य दिनानिमित्त शुभेच्छा दिल्या आहेत.
“देशाच्या अठ्ठ्यातराव्या स्वातंत्र्य दिनानिमित्त मी महाराष्ट्रातील सर्व नागरिकांना मनःपूर्वक शुभेच्छा देतो. हा दिवस आपल्याला असंख्य स्वातंत्र्यसैनिक, क्रांतिकारक आणि सामान्य नागरिकांनी स्वातंत्र्य प्राप्तीसाठी केलेल्या बलिदानाची आठवण करून देतो.
महाराष्ट्राला संत आणि समाजसुधारकांच्या विचारांचा समृद्ध वारसा लाभला आहे. स्वातंत्र्य मिळाल्यापासून महाराष्ट्राने सामाजिक-आर्थिक विकासात उल्लेखनीय प्रगती केली आहे. आपले राज्य औद्योगिक विकास, माहिती तंत्रज्ञान, शिक्षण, शेती आणि संस्कृतीत आघाडीवर आहे. आज महाराष्ट्र हे केवळ भारतातील आघाडीचे राज्य नाही तर प्रगती आणि नवनिर्मितीचे प्रतिक आहे.
आगामी काळात समृद्ध आणि सर्वसमावेशक अशा विकसित भारताचे स्वप्न साकार करण्यात महाराष्ट्र निर्णायक भूमिका बजावेल, असा मला विश्वास वाटतो. देशाच्या प्रगतीत योगदान देण्यासाठी आपण सर्वांनी नव्या जोमाने एकजूट होऊ या आणि स्वातंत्र्य, समता आणि न्यायाचे आदर्श पुढील पिढ्यांसाठी कायम ठेवूया”, असे राज्यपालांनी आपल्या संदेशात म्हटले आहे.

Maharashtra Governor greets people on Independence Day
Mumbai 14 : Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan has greeted the people of Maharashtra on the occasion of Independence Day. In a message the Governor wrote:
“On the auspicious occasion of the 78th Independence Day, I extend my heartiest greetings to all the citizens of Maharashtra. This day reminds us of the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters, revolutionaries and ordinary citizens to secure the independence.
Maharashtra has had a rich legacy of Saints and social reformers who have guided our society on the path of righteousness, justice, and equality.
Since attaining independence, Maharashtra has made remarkable strides in socio-economic development. Our State has been at the forefront of industrial development, education, agriculture and culture. Today, Maharashtra is not just a leading State in India but a symbol of progress and innovation.
I am confident Maharashtra will play a pivotal role in achieving the dream of a Viksit Bharat. Let us all join hands to contribute to the nation’s progress and ensure that the ideals of freedom, equality, and justice are cherished.”
Governor to hoist National Flag in Pune
Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan will hoist the National flag on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day at Council Hall, Pune at 9 am on Thursday (15th Aug.)
