मुंबई, दि. 1 : यशवंतराव चव्हाण महाराष्ट्र मुक्त विद्यापीठाच्या नव्या कुलगुरुंच्या निवडीसाठी राज्यपाल तथा कुलपती भगत सिंह कोश्यारी यांनी निवड समिती गठित केली आहे.
एनसीईआरटीचे माजी संचालक प्रा. जगमोहन सिंह राजपूत यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली ही निवड समिती गठित करण्यात आली आहे.
सुरत येथील सरदार वल्लभभाई नॅशनल इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नॉलॉजीचे संचालक प्रा. अनुपम शुक्ला, उच्च व तंत्रशिक्षण विभागाचे प्रधान सचिव विकासचंद्र रस्तोगी तसेच भोपाळ येथील मध्य प्रदेश भोज मुक्त विद्यापीठाचे माजी कुलगुरू प्रा. रवींद्र कान्हेरे (यूजीसी प्रतिनिधी) हे या समितीचे अन्य सदस्य असतील.
यशवंतराव चव्हाण महाराष्ट्र मुक्त विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरु प्रा. ई वायुनंदन यांचा कार्यकाळ दिनांक ७ मार्च २०२२ रोजी संपल्याने विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरुपद रिक्त झाले होते. महात्मा फुले कृषी विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरु डॉ. प्रशांतकुमार पाटील यांचेकडे सदर पदाचा अतिरिक्त कार्यभार सोपविण्यात आला आहे.

Governor constitutes Search Committee for selection of Open University VC
Mumbai, 1st Feb : Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of Universities in the State Bhagat Singh Koshyari has constituted a Search Committees for the selection of a new vice chancellor of the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik. Former Director of NCERT Prof Jagmohan SIngh Rajput will be chairman of the Committee.
Prof. Anupam Shukla, Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, Vikas Chandra Rastogi, Principal Secretary, Higher & Technical Education Department and Prof. Ravindra Kanhere, former Vice Chancellor of Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University will be the other members of the Search Committee.
The term of YCMOU vice chancellor Prof. E. Vayunandan had ended on 7th March 2022. The Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapith, Rahuri Dr. Prashantkumar G. Patil has been holding the additional charge of the post of the YCMOU Vice Chancellor since then.
