गडचिरोली दि. १६ : लोकसभा सार्वत्रिक निवडणुकीसाठी १९ एप्रिल रोजी होणाऱ्या मतदानाकरिता १२-गडचिरोली-चिमुर लोकसभा मतदार संघातील संवेदनशील व अतिसंवेदनशील मतदान केंद्रांवर मतदान पथके रवाना करण्यास आज सुरूवात करण्यात आली. गडचिरोलीतील विविध संवेदनशील आणि अतिसंवेदनशील अशा ६५ मतदान केंद्रावरील ७२ निवडणूक पथकाच्या २६७ मतदान अधिकारी व कर्मचाऱ्यांना ईव्हीएम आणि इतर युनिटसह आज सकाळी भारतीय वायुसेना आणि भारतीय लष्कराच्या ३-एम.आय.- १७ आणि ४-ए.एल.एच. हेलिकॉप्टरच्या मदतीने बेसकॅम्पवर सुरक्षितपणे पोहचविण्यात आले.
गडचिरोली-चिमुर लोकसभा मतदार संघात एकूण सहा विधानसभा क्षेत्रांचा समावेश असून अहेरी विधानसभा क्षेत्र अतिसंवेदनशील व नक्षलग्रस्त म्हणून ओळखले जाते या क्षेत्रात मुलचेरा, एटापल्ली, भामरागड, अहेरी आणि सिरोंचा या पाच तालुक्यांचा समावेश आहे. जिल्हा पोलिस अधिक्षक श्री. निलोत्पल यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली निवडणूक पथकांना सुरक्षीतपणे पोहचविण्यात येत आहे .

A Mammoth Exercise
Gadchiroli-Chimur Constituency of Maharashtra state witnessed today beginning of a mammoth exercise of transporting polling personnel to interior polling stations. District Gadchiroli has a difficult terrain requiring the administration to use Helicopters for transportation of 850 poll personnel to 206 polling stations. ECI has given permission for this transportation at P-3 (3 days before poll-day). The exercise started today early morning at 6.30 a.m. and 65 polling parties comprising of around 267 polling personnel were dispatched for ‘Difficult to Reach’ polling stations. Blessings of weather added to the enthusiasm and vigour of polling parties to undertake the task of enabling first part of the ‘Festival of Democracy’ which is scheduled on 19th April.
