मुंबई, दि. १७ :- बनावट देयक देणाऱ्या करदात्यांसंदर्भात महाराष्ट्र वस्तू व सेवा कर विभागाकडून विशेष मोहिम राबविण्यात येत आहे. मेसर्स हीर ट्रेडर्सच्या मालकाने बनावट कागदपत्रे वापरून फसव्या पद्धतीने नोंदणी करुन १० कोटींची बनावट वजावट (इनपुट टॅक्स क्रेडिट) मिळवली, तसेच रू. ८ कोटीची बनावट विक्री देयके दिली असल्याचे आढळून आले. या १८ कोटींच्या करचोरी प्रकरणी संबंधित व्यापाऱ्यास अटक करण्यात आली असल्याची माहिती, अन्वेषण विभागाचे राज्यकर सह-आयुक्त यांनी पत्रकाद्वारे दिली आहे.
या प्रकरणात मे. हीर ट्रेडर्सचे व्यापारी विजय अनिल मोतीरमानी याने कायद्यातील तरतुदींचे उल्लंघन केल्याप्रकरणी त्याला विशेष मोहिमेअंतर्गत अटक केली आहे. तसेच त्याला या प्रकरणात १२ दिवसांची न्यायालयीन कोठडी सुनावली आहे.
खोटी देयके देऊन तसेच कोणत्याही वस्तू व सेवांचा प्रत्यक्ष पुरवठा न करता, खोटे व्यवहार, विवरणपत्रात नमूद करून करचोरी करणाऱ्या तसेच पुढील खरेदीदार व्यापाऱ्यांना खोटी कर वजावट (इनपुट टॅक्स क्रेडिट) हस्तांतरित करणाऱ्या व्यापाऱ्यांवर अंकुश ठेवणे व अशा व्यवहारास प्रतिबंध घालण्याच्या सदर मोहिमे अंतर्गत सन २०२२- २३ मधील आतापर्यंतची ही ५९ वी अटक आहे.
सदर प्रकरणात सहाय्यक राज्यकर आयुक्त, मुंबई अन्वेषण ड ०४४, प्रशांत खराडे यांनी ही धडक कारवाई केली व या प्रकरणी अटकेची कारवाई करण्यासाठी त्यांना सहाय्यक राज्यकर आयुक्त, श्रीकांत पवार, विद्याधर जगताप, सुमेधकुमार गायकवाड आणि राज्यकर निरिक्षक व कर सहायक यांनी मदत केली. सदर मोहिम, राज्यकर सह-आयुक्त, अन्वेषण-क विभाग, मुंबई अनिल भंडारी (भा.प्र.से.) व राज्यकर उपायुक्त, अन्वेषण- क विभाग, मुंबई मोहन प्र. चिखले यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली पार पाडण्यात आली.

One person arrested by Maharashtra GST Department
in more than Rs.18 crores racket scam
Mumbai, 17th Jan : Investigation was conducted in case of M/s. Heer Traders as a part of a special operation launched by the Maharashtra Goods & Service Tax Department against Tax Payer involved in fake invoices.
Maharashtra Goods & Service Tax Department has arrested Mr. Vijay Anil Motiramani, age-31 years, who had obtained GST registration as a proprietor, of the firm M/s. Heer Traders, on 27/01/2020 under the special investigation operation carried out against tax evading firm.
Investigation visit was conducted at the place of business. During investigation, it was found that Mr Vijay Anil Motiramani has availed fake Input Tax Credit (ITC) of Rs. 10 crores from suspected non-existing Tax Payers by means of returns only and without any movement of goods and services worth Rs. 40 crores and passed on credit of Rs. 8 crores without actual supply of goods or services worth Rs.35 crores.
Hon’ble Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Esplanade Mumbai has remanded Mr. Vijay Anil Motiramani for 12 days judicial custody. The operation was conducted by the Assistant Commissioners of State Tax Shri. Prashant Kharade, Shri. Shrikant Pawar, Shri. Vidhyadhar Jagtap and Shri.Sumedhkumar Gaikwad along with State Tax Inspectors / Tax Assistants, under the guidance of Shri. Anil Bhandari (IAS), Joint Commissioner of State Tax, Investigation-C, Mumbai and Shri. Mohan P. Chikhale, Deputy Commissioner of State Tax.
With this 59th arrest in year 2022-23, Maharashtra Goods & Service Tax Department has once again issued stern warning to the tax evaders and persons engaged in declaring bogus turnover in returns without movement of goods or services and issuing fake invoices and claiming and passing fake input tax credit.
