नवी दिल्ली, दि. 29: स्वातंत्र्यवीर विनायक दामोदर सावरकर यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त येथील नवीन महाराष्ट्र सदनात समारंभ आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. या कार्यक्रमाच्या काही छायाचित्रांमध्ये महनीय व्यक्तींचे पुतळे दिसत नसल्याने, ‘महनीय व्यक्तींचा अनादर’ अशा मथळ्याखाली काही प्रसारमाध्यमांद्वारे वृत्त प्रसारित केले जात आहे.
याबाबत महाराष्ट्र सदनाच्या प्रभारी निवासी आयुक्त निवा जैन यांनी वस्तुस्थिती नमूद केली आहे. त्यात त्यांनी म्हटले आहे की, महाराष्ट्र सदनात आयोजित विविध शासकीय कार्यक्रम, समारंभावेळी आवश्यकतेनुसार सदनातील पुतळ्यांची जागा त्या समारंभाच्या वेळेपुरती बदलण्यात येते. अशी जागा बदलताना सर्व महनीय व्यक्तींचा सन्मान ठेवला जाईल, याची पुरेपूर काळजी घेतली जाते. त्यानुसार या महनीय व्यक्तींचा योग्य तो सन्मान राखूनच रविवारी आयोजित कार्यक्रमावेळी सदर पुतळ्यांची तात्पुरती रचना केली होती. त्यामुळे या कार्यक्रमात महनीय व्यक्तींचा अनादर केला, असे वृत्त वस्तुस्थितीला धरुन नाही.

New Delhi,Dt. 29 : On the ocassion of celebration of Veer Savarkar Jayanti, Jayanti Samaroh was organized in the New Maharashtra Sadan. For the arrangements of the Jayanti, the statues kept in the lobby of New Maharashtra Sadan were moved by 3-4 feet to the left and right hand side from their previous positions. The statues are movable and shifting of the statues in the lobby is a common practice whenever any events or functions are organized here. In few photographs of the Jayanti event, the statues are not showing the frame, which is being highlighted by some media persons as dishonor of the statues of great persons which is actually not the case and a misrepresentation of facts. Rather the arrangements and setting of the lobby is made at every ocassion to ensure that every statue of great person is kept at a place where their honor is maintained.
