चेतन चौहान यांच्या निधनाबद्दल राज्यपालांना दु:ख

मुंबई, दि. १६ – प्रसिद्ध माजी क्रिकेटपटू व उत्तर प्रदेश सरकारमधील कॅबिनेट मंत्री चेतन चौहान यांच्या निधनाबद्दल राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी यांनी दुःख व्यक्त केले आहे.
श्री चेतन चौहान हे देशातील एक उत्तम क्रिकेटपटू व क्रिकेट प्रशासक तर होतेच परंतु ते उत्तम समाजसेवक देखील होते. लोकसभा सदस्य तसेच उत्तर प्रदेश सरकारमधील मंत्री म्हणून त्यांनी उल्लेखनीय कार्य केले. चेतन चौहान माझे घनिष्ठ स्नेही होते. त्यांच्या निधनामुळे क्रिकेट विश्वाचे तसेच एकूण समाजाचे नुकसान झाले आहे. त्यांच्या निधनाबद्दल मी आपल्या शोक संवेदना त्यांच्या कुटुंबियांना कळवित आहे, असे राज्यपाल कोश्यारी यांनी आपल्या संदेशामध्ये म्हटले आहे.

Governor Koshyari condoles demise of Chetan Chauhan

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has expressed condolences on the demise of former India Cricketer and UP Cabinet Minister Chetan Chauhan. In a condolence message, the Governor said:
“Shri Chetan Chauhan was not only a great cricketer and cricket administrator, but was also a dedicated social worker. He did significant work as Member of Parliament and later as a Minister in the government of Uttar Pradesh. I had the privilege of knowing Shri Chetan Chauhan intimately. His demise is a great loss to the world of cricket and to society at large. I convey my heartfelt condolences on his demise to the members of the bereaved family.”
