वाशिम जिल्ह्यातील सिंचनाचे प्रश्न मार्गी लावणार – मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे

नागपूर, दि. 18 : राज्यातील आकांक्षित जिल्ह्यांपैकी एक असलेल्या वाशिम जिल्ह्याला विकासाच्या मुख्य प्रवाहात आणण्यासाठी विविध योजनांखाली निधी उपलब्ध करून देण्यात येईल. त्याचबरोबर भौगोलिक रचनेमुळे जिल्ह्यात सिंचनासाठी मोठे प्रकल्प उभारणे शक्य नसले तरी लघुसिंचन प्रकल्पांसाठी निधी उपलब्ध करून सिंचनाचे प्रश्न मार्गी लावण्यात येतील, असे मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी सांगितले. विधानभवन येथील मंत्री परिषद सभागृहात झालेल्या वाशिम जिल्हा आढावा बैठकीत ते बोलत होते.

जिल्ह्यात सिंचनासाठी मोठे प्रकल्प नाहीत. त्यामुळे सिंचनाचा भार हा लघु प्रकल्पांवर आहे. अडाण नदीवर ३ बॅरेजेस उभारण्याचा प्रस्ताव आहे. यास विशेष बाब म्हणून मान्यता देण्याबाबत कार्यवाही करावी, तसेच जिल्ह्यातील लघु प्रकल्पांची कालवे दुरुस्ती झाल्यास पूर्ण क्षमतेने सिंचन होऊन सुमारे ५ हजार हेक्टर क्षेत्र सिंचनाखाली येण्यास मदत होईल, ही बाब लोकप्रतिनिधींनी मांडली. मुख्यमंत्री श्री. ठाकरे यांनी जिल्ह्यातील सिंचनाचे प्रश्न मार्गी लावण्यात येतील, तसेच जानोरी प्रकल्पाला सुधारित प्रशासकीय मान्यता तातडीने देण्याबाबत कार्यवाही करण्यात येईल, असे सांगितले.

नोव्हेंबर २०१९ अखेरपर्यंत प्रलंबित असलेल्या वीज जोडण्यांपैकी आतापर्यंत जिल्ह्यात सुमारे २५०० कृषिपंपांना वीज पुरवठा करण्यात आला आहे, उर्वरित सुमारे ४५०० कृषिपंपांना मार्च अखेरपर्यंत वीज पुरवठा करण्यात येणार आहे. वीज पुरवठा करताना ६०० मीटरपेक्षा जास्त अंतर असल्यास या ठिकाणी जास्त खर्च येत असल्याने याठिकाणी सौर कृषी पंप देण्यावर भर दिला जात आहे.सौर कृषी पंपांमुळे शेतकऱ्यांना सिंचनासाठी दिवसा वीज मिळणे शक्य होणार आहे.

राज्यातील ग्रामीण रस्त्यांचा प्रश्न सार्वत्रिक स्वरूपाचा आहे. ग्रामीण दळणवळणासाठी हे रस्ते उपयुक्त असल्याने या रस्त्यांचा दर्जा सुधारण्यावर भर देण्यात येणार आहे. यासाठी राज्यस्तरावरच निधीची उपलब्ध करण्याबाबत कार्यवाही करण्यात येईल. तसेच जिल्ह्यात मुख्यमंत्री ग्राम सडक योजनेंतर्गत मंजूर कामे मार्गी लावण्यात येतील, असे मुख्यमंत्री यावेळी म्हणाले.

दुग्ध व्यवसायाला चालना देण्यासाठी जिल्ह्यातील दूध संघ कार्यान्वित होण्यासाठी पावले उचलण्यात येतील. तसेच देशी गायींचा दर्जा वाढविण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करण्यात येतील. यामुळे दुधाचे उत्पन्न वाढून शेतकऱ्यांची स्थिती सुधारण्यास मदत होईल. तसेच जिल्हा महिला रुग्णालय व कारंजा येथील उपजिल्हा रुग्णालयाच्या उर्वरित कामासाठी तातडीने निधी उपलब्ध करून देण्यात येईल. वाशिम हा आकांक्षित जिल्हा असल्यामुळे या जिल्ह्यातील विकास कामांचा वेळोवेळी आढावा घेण्यात येईल. जिल्ह्याच्या विकासासाठी लोकप्रतिनिधींनी उपाययोजना आणि नाविन्यपूर्ण योजना याची प्रशासनाने दखल घेऊन जिल्ह्याला विकासाच्या मार्गाने न्यावे, असे आवाहन मुख्यमंत्री श्री. ठाकरे यांनी केले.

जिल्हा परिषदेअंतर्गतअधिकाऱ्यांची ६० टक्के पदे रिक्त आहेत. ही पदे तातडीने भरण्यासाठी आवश्यक कार्यवाही करण्यात येईल. आकांक्षित जिल्ह्यातील पदे रिक्त राहू नयेत, याबाबत सर्व जिल्ह्यांना सूचना करण्यात येईल, असे मुख्य सचिवांनी यावेळी सांगितले. 

यावेळी आमदार गोपीकिशन बाजोरिया, आमदार लखन मलिक, आमदार अमित झनक, मुख्य सचिव अजोय मेहता, मुख्यमंत्र्यांचे प्रधान सचिव भूषण गगराणी, विभागीय आयुक्त पीयूष सिंह, जिल्हाधिकारी हृषीकेश मोडक, जिल्हा परिषदेचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी दीपक कुमार मीना यांच्यासह वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित होते.

Irrigation problems in Washim district will be resolved soon – Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray

Nagpur,18.Dec.19:”Funds will be made available under various schemes to bring Washim District into main stream of the development. Besides, due to the geographical structure, it is not possible to set up large irrigation projects in the district but irrigation issues will be solved by providing funds for small irrigation projects” said Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

He was speaking at the Washim District Review Meeting held at the Minister Council hall in Vidhan Bhavan.

People’s representative of Washim district put the facts that there were no big irrigation projects in the district. Therefore, the burden of irrigation was on small projects. It was proposed to construct three barrages on the Adana River. Action should be taken to recognize this as a special case, and if the canals of small projects in the district are repaired, it would help to irrigate the land in full capacity. About5,000hectares land would come under irrigation.

Chief Minister ordered to give immediate administrative approval to Janori project and he also promised to solve all irrigation issues of the district.

Out of the power connections pending till the end of November2019, electric supply have been supplied to2500agricultural pumps in the district till now, while the remaining4500agricultural pumps will get electric supply by the end of March. Solar agriculture pump will be provided to reduce the cost if there is a distance of more than600meters. Solar agricultural pumps would make it possible for farmers to get electricity for irrigation during morning time also.

Mr. Thackeray further stated that the question of rural roads in the state is universal. As these roads are suitable for rural transport, emphasis would be given to improving the quality of these roads. For this, action would be taken on the availability of funds at the state level. Likewise, the works approved under the Chief Minister’s Gram Sadak Yojna would be implemented in the district.

“Steps will be taken to enable the milk union in the district to run the dairy business. Efforts will also be made to increase the quality of Desi cow. This will help to improve the condition of the farmers by increasing the yield of milk. Also, immediate funding will be made available for the remaining work of District Women’s Hospital and Sub District Hospital at Karanja. As Washim is an aspirational district, development activities of this district will be reviewed on time.

Chief Secretary Ajoy Mehta informed that under the Zilha Parishad,60%of the posts of officers were vacant. Necessary action would be taken to fill these positions immediately.

Senior officials including MLA Gopikishan Bajoria, MLA Lakhan Malik, MLA Amit Zanak, Chief Secretary Ajoy Mehta, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Bhushan Gagrani, Divisional Commissioner Piyush Singh, District Collector Hrishikesh Modak and Chief Executive Officer of Zilha Parishad, Deepak Kumar Meena were prominently present.
